"The first time that I helped a mother-to-be quiet her mind and connect with her baby amidst the intensity of arriving relatives and last minute nesting frenzy, I got goosebumps.  As I felt her being transported into that sublime pre-labor land, I clicked away in awe. Every time I see a pregnant woman, I am inspired to make art, to help her to feel her best during this special time in her life, and to witness the transformation of the every day woman into the Goddess of Life.  It is her time to shine."     

Cresta began her work as a photographer 20 years ago while traveling and working as a model in Japan. She is self-taught and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Columbia University. Part of what helps her to make such relaxed and intimate photos is her knowledge of what it feels like to be pregnant and in front of the camera. The mother of two daughters, she  has worked for Healthy Pregnancy Magazine, Parents Magazine, Parenting Magazine, Glamour, Liz Lange Maternity, Motherhood Maternity, and Cadeau Maternity.

Cresta is available for private bookings. She will come to you or to a location of your choice and together, you can make a lasting memento of your pregnancy. She does the hair, make up and styling for every shoot.
